Local favorites and purveyors of original mountain music, Sneaky Pete and the Secret Weapons, will be performing a very special acoustic set LIVE on The Center stage on June 4th. Utilizing the sonic purity of The Center hall, the Weapons will be stripping down to their roots and performing like you’ve never heard them before. Simple instrumentation and authentic locally-written songs will come together for this very unique set of “axe the cables” material.
Listeners should expect a base of jazz, groove, and rock, mixed with flavors of folk, funk, and world music sounds. Long-time fans of the band will recognize their distinctive sound, while being surprised with familiar songs played in a whole new light. This will be unlike any Sneaky Pete show you’ve ever heard, and the band is proud to partner with the Center to bring this very special set of original music straight to your home.
