The Center’s campus is a vibrant mix of creative visions and missions in action.
Within the walls and across The Center Park, twenty resident arts and cultural non-profits are fulfilling their missions to provide programming, education, and opportunities for the entire Jackson community.
Beyond that, dozens of local non-profit organizations annually rent The Center to hold their fundraisers, programming, and other special events. Through connection and collaboration on our campus between the community, artists, patrons, and our Resident Organizations, we work to elevate Jackson’s arts and cultural educational opportunities and experiences.

Resident Organization Use of The Center
Through the generosity of annual donations The Center is able to keep this vibrant campus thriving and full of many Resident Organizations. Resident Organizations utilize The Center in a multitude of ways. From office space for their admin support to renting studio and dance space. There are also many residents who have customized their spaces for specific programming, like the paint and ceramic studios for Art Association, and the multiple dance classrooms for Dancers’ Workshop, or the Black Box Theater utilized by Off Square Theatre.
Each Resident Organization also receives priority booking of The Center Theater, Amphitheater, and Center Park each year as The Center assembles its calendar of events and programming for the year. Offering discounted rates for rentals of these spaces allow Resident Organizations to share their vibrant programming at affordable costs for their patrons and supporters.
You can learn more about how we support Resident Organizations, through subsidized rent and access to best in class facilities, like the Theater and technical equipment by visiting the support page.
