Wes Martel (Eastern Shoshone) and Dr. Dodie White Eagle (Northern Arapaho) presents the many facets of Tribal Governance and Sovereignty within the context of the Wind River Indian Reservation. They discuss the meaning and significance that govern the social, political, and cultural fabric of the Wind River community. Two governing bodies: The Northern Arapaho Tribal Council and the Eastern Shoshone Tribal Council employ leadership, strategies and initiatives to benefit their tribes and the pivotal roles the councils play in shaping the future of the Wind River Indian Reservation.
