LOCAL CALL FOR ARTISTS IN AND AROUND JACKSON HOLE

From time to time Center for the Arts issues Calls for Artists to submit designs for projects at The Center. In the past we’ve issued calls for multiple types of art including digital art to be featured on our digital monitors throughout the building, for bike racks that show the artistic and collaborative nature of The Center, and more. If you have any questions please reach out to our Creative Initiatives Director, Oona Doherty.

Open Call for Artists – Theater Gallery

More information about current or upcoming artist open calls is found below.
  • Center for the Arts is seeking local and regional artists to exhibit work in the Center Theater Gallery. Individual artists are invited, as well as teams of two artists paired together, or small groups are encouraged. We are also seeking exhibits that are interactive, experiential and immersive. We are especially interested in exhibits that spark curiosity and grow community engagement.

The Theater Gallery is an approximately 35-foot long transitional hallway from the theater to the education pavilion at The Center with exhibition space on both walls of the gallery. This is a high visibility, high traffic exhibition space, with more than 100,000 audience members of all ages attending events, classes and workshops on campus every year.

The Center Theater Gallery has six open slots for the coming year for exhibitions lasting 4-6 weeks from January 1-December 31, 2025. This is a juried call. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. The preference is local and regional artists.
