WHISTLEBLOWER POLICY
Center for the Arts requires directors, officers, and employees to observe high ethical standards when conducting their duties and responsibilities. A whistleblower is an employee of The Center who reports an activity in the organization that he/she considers to be illegal, fraudulent or unethical. If an employee has knowledge or concern of an illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activity, he or she should contact the Director, the President of The Center Fund, or the Board of Directors. The employee must exercise good judgment to avoid baseless allegations. An employee who intentionally files a false report of wrongdoing will be subject to discipline up to an including termination. Moreover, the protections of whistleblowers will not include immunity for any personal wrongdoing that is discovered during an investigation.
Yes, Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization as designated by the Internal Revenue Service. A copy of our IRS designation letter can be found here. Donations made to The Center are tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Code Section 170.

If your company is eligible, please request a matching gift form from your employer or complete the form per the company's instructions. If a hardcopy form is provided, you may send it completed and signed with your gift or soon thereafter. We will happily do the rest and will let you know when we receive the match.
