Old Bill’s Fun Run is a collaborative fundraiser organized annually by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. The tradition began in 1997 when an anonymous couple, Mr. & Mrs. Old Bill’s, donated $500,000 to inspire giving to our local non-profits. Since then during August and September, the Jackson Hole community comes together with many generous co-challengers of Mr. & Mrs. Old Bill to raise funds for the more than 200 nonprofits in the valley. The Center relies in part on donations made through Old Bill’s to bring excellent programming and provide a state-of-the-art home for nonprofit arts and education organizations in Jackson. More Than Excellent Programming
Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organization that relies on financial support from community members like you. We bring national acts to our 525-person theater and to provide a state-of-the-art campus for 20 of the top Arts and Cultural nonprofits in Jackson. The Center sits on public land but receives no additional public funding. We bring Grammy winning artists to our small professional venue at a high cost from both a production and artist fee standpoint. We operate The Center Theater as a nonprofit service to our community and price tickets with the goal of breaking even. It is the generosity of our donors that allows us to maintain our 78,000-square-foot building and provide low-cost, sustainable rent and excellent facilities for our 20 Resident Nonprofit Organizations.
Old Bill’s is a key component of fundraising for The Center each year, allowing us to provide accessible and inclusive arts and cultural opportunities for locals and visitors alike. Thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Old Bill, Co-Challengers, and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, a portion of all donations are matched – multiplying your impact!
