Exhibit Opening Party: October 19 at 4:30PM

Dust off your selfie stick and explore backdrop environments created by local artists at the Art Association’s #wishyouwerehere exhibit. Create your own Insta-experience with dress up clothes, props, and diverse backdrops for selfies that all add up to a fun immersive art experience. Artist backdrops created by Matt Daly, Sam Dowd, Katy Ann Fox, Walt Gerald, Rachel Kunkle Hartz, and Lyndsay McCandless.

Join the Art Association for an Exhibit Opening Party and Pumpkins on Fire event on Oct. 19 beginning at 4:30 pm.

Start your evening with Ceramic Studios Manager Sam Dowd and glaze and fire your own ceramic pumpkin. Acrylic paints will be on hand for those who prefer to paint their pottery pumpkins, which are also guaranteed not to rot. Ceramic pumpkins will be priced by size ranging from $10 to $40. Your pumpkin purchase will also come with a raffle ticket to win a fully finished, artist-designed jack-o-lantern. Proceeds support the Art Association’s Ceramics Studio.

Explore the backdrop environments with friends at the #wishyouwerehere exhibit Opening Party. Partygoers can dress up, use props, and position themselves in front of artful backdrops for selfies. Polaroid cameras will be available for instant photos at $1 per shot and the Gallery will be filled with music by Mr. Whipple.
