Each year, Watershed Jackson hosts a gala event, with the purpose of providing the community with a guest speaker that educates the community on what day-to-day life can be like with a traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury. Watershed Jackson aims to foster athletes back to the sports they love, surrounded by a supportive community effort. 100% of all proceeds from this gala are directed back to our community.

Watershed Jackson strives to educate the community regarding the daily obstacles athletes with traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries must overcome. Together we will establish an atmosphere of teamwork and respect to improve integrity, confidence, and an appreciation for individual challenges within the community.
Chris Nowinski Ph.D, is co-founder and CEO of the Concussion Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving the sports concussion crisis through education, policy, and research. He is also the author of the book turned movie Head Games which sheds light on this serious public health issue. Chris, a former football player, WWE wrestler and concussion survivor shares his passion for research on the need for advanced brain trauma research.
Quinn Brett is an adventurer and multi-record breaking athlete. Tying herself to Estes Park, Colorado for the last fifteen years, she pushes her mind and body to the limits. In October 2017, Quinn fell over 100 feet while climbing on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Quinn sustained a spinal cord injury, leaving her currently paralyzed from the waist down. Movement in public lands was a big part of life and vocation for Quinn. She is doing the best she can to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while still fulfilling her baseline passions and pushing for adaptive advancements and SCI recovery.
