Sticky Situations with Jenny Dowd and Matt Daly
Wednesday, July 8th, 12-1pm
Join artist Jenny Dowd and poet Matt Daly under the outdoor white tent at The Center to create “Sticky Situations.” We will make a simple craft project that will be added to the Poetry Apothecary Exhibit currently on display at the Center, presented by the JH Writers and curated by Matt Daly. Make your own drawing/poem combinations that showcase the things and ideas that get us into sticky situations and get us out of them.

Natural Dye Making Demonstration
Friday, July 10th, 1-4pm
Master Dyer Doris Florig will be dyeing wool fabric and yarn in pots simmering with native plants like Yellow Sweet Clover and Mullen. Bring 6 bags of black tea to add to a pot and you can go home with a yarn sample.
