Event info
Uncommon Residency Talk | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Join us to peruse the Uncommon Art Show and learn about the Uncommon Art Residency program. Meet hotelier and residency founder Erik Warner, as well as residency organizers, artists, and curators Travis Walker and Kara Hoblin, who will share information about opportunities for local artists in both Jackson and Greenport, NY.
The Uncommon Art Residency began in 2017 at Sound View Greenport, New York, and expanded to Jackson’s Anvil Hotel. These residencies have worked to be havens for creatives from all over the country. For the last seven years, contemporary artists, composers, musicians, playwrights, and craftsmen have explored their unique medium and connected with the local community.
