Established in late 2016 by bassist/vocalist Corey McCormick, guitarist Nick Lewis, and vocalist/percussionist Gabe Velasquez Organa is an eclectic mix of funk, soul, rock, and jazz. These three gentlemen came together to fulfill their need to make art that tells a story and also makes you dance!

Set to release their debut EP titled “The Pheonix” in summer of 2020, the offerings are funky and fresh. Recorded at Hen House studio in Venice Beach. Organa enlisted many great LA based players including Rafael Moreira on guitar (Pink, Christina Aguilera, Paul Stanly), Jeff Waldon saxophone, Tato Melgar on percussion (Lukas Nelson, Neil Young) Eman Cervantes on Drums(Andy Grammar), Alex Gonzalez on drums (Aloe Black), & Asdru Sierra on trumpet (Ozomatli).

Busy writing a full length record with hopes of a release early 2021, Organa is excited to share their musical offerings with the world!
