June 6 | 7:00 PM
Join Jackson Hole Youth Orchestra for their 2nd annual gala fundraiser with guest artists: WYO. Support our area’s classical music program for Teton County Youth hosted by MusicLand, a Resident of the Center for the Arts.
WYO embodies the search for a place that’s alive and wild. Within ourselves and within nature. A sonic companion along the journey to finding yourself, and remaining true to yourself, even when the path forward is unclear.
Inspired by frontman Andy Sorge’s home state of Wyoming, and guitarist Scott McKay Gibson’s favorite refuge, WYO makes cinematic music influenced by nature’s strength and resilience. Kindled by passion and tension, the songs are an honest look at love and loss, and the soul-searching and clarity that emerges in the space between. Within the melodies and lyrics are celebratory reminders of the beauty and magic all around us, and nature’s unwavering ability to bring us back to ourselves. WYO’s 3rd album is scheduled to release in fall of 2023.
