This free event by Jackson Hole Public Art- open to all, no tickets required – will begin with a keynote speech from biomimicry expert Peter Lawrence in the Center for the Arts theater, followed by MoonShot 5×5 pitches from five regional creatives in a fast-paced, invigorating round of ideas that will get you thinking about what is possible. Peter Lawrence is the President and Co-Founder of Biomimicry New England. From 1985 to 2014, Peter was Chairman & Founder of the Corporate Design Foundation, whose mission was to improve the quality of life and the effectiveness of organizations through design. Following the keynote speech, MoonShot presenters will pitch their out-of-this-world public art idea via 5 slides in 5 minutes. Presenters will compete for the Buzz Aldrin Award, a $3,000 cash prize selected by a jury of creative-type community members.
