Two contemporary dance companies echo one another across the stage, each with their own unique style and expression. The internationally-celebrated Malpaso Dance Company brings their energetic Afro-Carribean influence from Havana to Jackson Hole in all its profound and complex glory. Contemporary Dance Wyoming with choreographer Gina Patterson are also showcasing a new work envisioned and developed locally at Dancers’ Workshop. Join us following the matinee performance on May 8 for a Salsa Cubana Family Dance Party in The Center Lobby with Malpaso Dance Company and Contemporary Dance Wyoming.

The Center and DW will no longer require proof of vaccine or negative COVID-19 test to attend events at the Center for the Arts. Masks are no longer required in The Center Theater. Individuals may choose to wear them based on their individual comfort level. With the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, these procedures may undergo occasional changes or additions.
