Tune in to this page on Thursday, July 30 at 5 pm, for a live session from The Center stage. You can also view the stream at facebook/TheCenterJH.
Born and raised in Michigan, Sheena Dhamsania moved to Wyoming a decade ago where she commenced her career in teaching and playing music. Even at a young age, Sheena was drawn to all sounds low: turning up the leftmost knob on the EQ in the family minivan in the early-aughts, playing bassoon all the way into music school, and learning bass upon her Jackson arrival. A familiar face on the local music scene, you can typically find Sheena singing and playing in a variety of Jackson bands. In this next iteration, she dives into a self-driven project. Interweaving her roots in Hindu drones, Lo-Fi soundscapes, and Motown harmonies with explorations in different genres she has learned along the way, Sheena expresses her music with authentic and eclectic intention.
