Ghost of the Mountains goes behind the scenes of one of Disneynature’s most challenging undertakings: finding and filming the rarely seen snow leopards for the feature film “Born in China.” At more than 15,000 feet, China’s Qinghai Plateau is perfect for snow leopards. However, for the humans who endeavored to film there, the air is painfully thin, the weather is brutal, the terrain is tricky and their spotted subjects are nearly impossible to locate”much less capture on film.
