Dancers’ Workshop presents DIAVOLO Architecture in Motion to Jackson Hole THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, fresh off the stage of NBC’s America’s Got Talent! DIAVOLO uses dance to explore the relationship between the human body and its architectural environment. The company’s monumental sets become the backdrop for intensely-athletic movements – LEAPING, FLYING, TWIRLING- creating narratives of the human condition. Artistic Director Jacques Heim leads this extraordinary team of dancers, designers, engineers and choreographers.

DIAVOLO delivers two visceral and majestic works, just in time to Jackson Hole in time to celebrate the rare total solar eclipse. The company’s astronomic sets become the backdrop for intensely-athletic movement and awe-inspiring choreography.
TRAJECTOIRE is a visceral and emotional journey through the ebb and flow of the human experience. As the performers struggle to find their balance on a voyage of destiny and destination, this work shows the transcendence of the human soul against all odds. PASSENGERS, the company’s newest work created in 2016 to be part of a two-part piece entitled L.O.S.T. (Losing One’s Self Temporarily), explores human experience, as we teeter between vulnerability and control, losing and reshaping ourselves as we traverse through our daily lives and work. On and around a giant morphing staircase with multiple doors, passageways, and shifting surfaces, the dancers reckon with themes of journey and transition and the tenuous balance we attempt to strike each day as both indomitable drivers and unwitting passengers.
