From Havana, Cuba, Malpaso has exploded onto the international dance scene and will shine in a performance to support DW. Malpaso blends contemporary dance with unparalleled versatility and Cuban expression, collaborating with the world’s best choreographers while nurturing new voices in Cuban choreography. The evening’s repertoire will include works choreographed by Aszure Barton and Ohad Naharin. Contemporary Dance Wyoming will open the evening on stage with an excerpt of their latest work.

Aszure Barton has been called “audacious” by the New York Times and “brilliant” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Ohad Naharin has been named “one of the world’s greatest” by the New York Times.
