The Brainstorm Speaker Series is a series of free events presented by Jackson Hole News & Guide, Teton County Library, and The Center featuring trailblazers who are renowned in their fields and are known for sparking ideas and inspiring conversation. Dr. Ramani Durvasula (Dr. Ramani) is the New York Times best-selling author of “It’s Not You: Identifying and Healing from Narcissistic People.” She is a clinical psychologist, professor emerita of psychology, and the world’s leading expert on narcissistic relationships.
In 2003, Durvasula received the “Emerging Scholar” Award from the American Association of University Women and the “Distinguished Woman” Award from the CSULA. California State University named her Outstanding Professor of the year in 2012.
