Join Center for the Arts, its Resident Organizations, and local artists this summer for the Artful Hour! This free series features Center Resident Organizations and local artists presenting programs that are informative, engaging, and immersive. Each week, different artists will showcase their craft, share their approach to the creative process, and invite attendees to a hands-on artful experience.
Programs are all FREE and open to the public, every Wednesday during The People’s Market from July 2nd through August 20th in The Center Tent.
Garden of Lanterns
You’re invited! Garden of Lanterns is a community-driven public art installation that symbolizes care, growth, and togetherness. JH Public Art and curator Bronwyn Minton invite you to be a part of this magical experience by helping us design and build a luminous garden of handcrafted lanterns.
Bronwyn Minton is a multi-disciplinary artist, curator, and arts leader living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Minton holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She is the recipient of the Wyoming Governor’s Arts Award, two Wyoming Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowships, a Wyoming Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowship Honorable mention, and the Cultural Council of Jackson Hole’s Creative Pulse Award. Minton’s work has been shown nationally and internationally, and is in public and private collections.

Center for the Arts (The Center) connects and strengthens Jackson Hole’s creative community by providing a dedicated arts campus and supporting excellent cultural programming for all ages. Jackson Hole Public Art places temporary and permanent artworks and we produce community-minded, artist-driven projects for public spaces. Public art invigorates and transforms, welcoming locals and visitors to a collective experience that builds community. We also animate civic spaces through partnerships with private and public developers, ensuring that art is included in public design.
