Artful Hour with Art Association of Jackson Hole

Join Art Association of Jackson Hole’s Jen Hoffman for Handbuilding Charms with polymer clays. Handbuilding with polymer clay offers endless creative possibilities. Polymer clay is a versatile material that stays soft until baked, allowing for play, experimentation, and detailed work. The clay comes in numerous colors and textures, which can be mixed to create unique shades. The tactile experience of kneading and shaping is not only stress-relieving but creatively fulfilling.  During this Artful Hour, participants will experiment with handbuilding techniques like pinching, rolling, and slab-making to make small, colorful charms that can be used as a key chain, bag accessory, or pendant.

Artful Hour programs are all FREE and open to the public, every Wednesday at 5:00 PM during The People’s Market from July 2nd through September 23rd in The Center Tent.

Jennifer Hoffman is a professional artist and long-time Jackson resident who has always been involved in the local art community. She earned a BFA in Printmaking and Painting from the University of Delaware. She joined the Art Association after being a partner at Trio Fine Art and a full time artist for many years. She has exhibited in national and international exhibitions and holds signature memberships in the American Tonalist Society and the Pastel Society of America. Her work is in private collections internationally and held in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Wildlife Art, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, the Jackson Hole Airport, and St. John’s Sage Living Center. Jen is excited for the opportunity to connect our community with creativity and expression through this unique partnership.
