Art Opening: Exploring Terrains
Event info
Exploring Terrains is an abstract art exhibit featuring work by three artists from the mountain west. Alissa Davies, Miga Rossetti, and Stephanie Rose bring a collection of emotion-filled work to The Center Theater Gallery and Center Commons. The works are inspired by external and internal landscapes in acrylic, mixed media, oil, and ink mediums.
Stephanie Rose’s works distill her sensorial and emotional responses to experiences in wilderness and gardens, and on farms and ranches.
Alissa Davies’ art is a non-verbal expression of her internal landscape and her paintings go through many layers and iterations before composition, color relationships and movement considerations come into play to finish a piece.
Miga Rossetti creates abstract landscapes that move between observation and memory, grounded in movement, process, and place rather than pictorial accuracy.
