An Evening with Our Ally: The Wolf

An evening to celebrate a special member of our wild community the strong connection between humans and wolves. The evening will include the film short, Wolf Spirit, Directed by Julia Huffman, and The War in Between Directed by Riccardo Ferraris starring Matt Simmons and Lorin Lindner. Matt and Lorin are the founders of Lockwood Animal Rescue Center (Lockwood ARC / LARC) where wolves and veterans come together to help heal from PTSD. Q&A with both Julia and Matt and Lorin will follow the films.

The evening also will feature a live painting demonstration by the talented Shannon Marie of Shannon Marie Artistry. Leggings featuring Shannon’s beautiful wolf image will be available for sale with all the proceeds going to Wyoming Wildlife Advocates! Informational booths, and a silent auction and raffle for beautiful artwork by local artists and pieces from world-famous wolf researcher Jim Brandenburg round out the night of fundraising for our important work to protect the wildlife of Wyoming. Free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be held in Center for the Arts lobby beforehand. Film tickets are on sale now. $15 for two films.
