A Night of Film featuring Jackson creator Kayla Arend and Leaving Yellowstone.
Center Presents
The Center Theater
January 6 | 7:00 PM
Join The Center for an evening of film and music featuring Jackson creator Kayla Arend. Arend’s catalog of short films is ever expanding and her latest project Leaving Yellowstone, from executive producer Spike Lee, has garnered numerous awards and accolades.
Leaving Yellowstone follows the story of Tessa and her visit to Yellowstone National Park with her new boyfriend, Mark. When they arrive, Mark changes, aggression and cruelty build as Tessa starts finding disturbing artifacts around the cabin. What begins as an idyllic winter weekend slowly becomes a nightmare as Tessa realizes she’s alone in the woods with a man she really doesn’t know at all.
Along with Leaving Yellowstone, 7 of Arend’s other projects will be screened. Episodes of Wild and Inspired, Final Orbit, May Park and more will be shown, pre-show music in The Center lobby from 6 to 7PM featuring CAITLYN & THE COOLTONES, and a panel discussion will follow the films.
Patrons are encouraged to claim tickets ahead of time to this free but ticketed event. A suggested donation of $5.00 can be made either online when claiming tickets or at the door on the night of the show.
Caitlyn & The CoolTones consists of Caitlyn Falco on Vocals, Greg Keckler on Guitar, Martin Hagen on Trumpet & Flugelhorn, and Mark Memmer on Bass.
