The 9th biennial Jackson Hole Wildlife Symposium (JHWS) will gather citizens, students, and professionals from non-profit organizations, academic institutions, government agencies to discuss the many dynamics in human and wildlife communities across the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Great changes are occurring throughout the region – some harmful, others beneficial – and the future will likely make new demands on our communities and the natural environment. This year’s symposium will examine the broad issues, policies, and science of the GYE using Grand Strategy, a framework to help us think, communicate, and conduct our lives to best meet our shared aspirations: a healthy GYE. Symposium participants will experience diverse sessions, panels, and keynote speakers addressing “Building Successful Strategies for Conservation in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem”.
