Womentum’s fifth annual Women in Leadership Summit, “Leading with Integrity,” will be held both live and through virtual streaming at the Center for the Arts in Jackson on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 1:00-6:00 pm.

“Leading with Integrity” features a keynote conversation with the United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, M. Margaret McKeown. Teton County Commissioner, Natalia Duncan Macker will interview Judge McKeown on the importance of “Trusting Your Judgement.” Born and raised in Casper, and graduate of University of Wyoming, Judge McKeown is immediate past chair of the ABA Rule of Law Initiative and a current special advisor. She has lectured throughout the world on international law, human rights law, intellectual property, litigation, ethics, judicial administration, and constitutional law. Judge McKeown was also a great friend to Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who served as a mentor for many years. In February 2020, McKeown hosted an armchair interview with RBG titled Searching for Equality: The 19th Amendment and Beyond at Georgetown Law. Within days of the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and prior to her death in September, this interview was one of the Supreme Court Justice’s last public appearances. Judge McKeown is a frequent visitor to Jackson Hole and currently serves on the Board of the Teton Science Schools.

Justice McKeown’s keynote will be followed by two workshops: “Having Difficult Conversations” with bilingual therapist and founder of Vista Counseling, Daniela Peterson, and Life Coach, Jamil Higley of Jackson and “Work/Life Balance” with Erin Taylor of Cheyenne.
