Center for the Arts Announces Campus-Wide Accessibility Enhancements

JACKSON, WY | March 30th, 2026 – Center for the Arts is excited to announce a series of new accessibility enhancements across its campus and digital platforms, designed to make The Center more intuitive, inclusive, and easy to navigate for all visitors.

Over the past six months, The Center has upgraded assisted listening technology in The Center Theater, installed a campus-wide wayfinding system, and improved website language accessibility.

Assisted Listening

This year The Center introduced a fully-digital assisted listening system in The Center Theater, using Wi-Fi transmission to deliver clear, real-time audio without delay. This enhancement improves the listening experience for performances, talks, and events.

Audience members can access the system using headphones and receivers provided by The Center, or through personal T-coil–equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants. Patrons also have the ability to connect to The Center’s Assisted Listening Wi-Fi network with their own devices. The system supports live translation and commentary, expanding access for multi-lingual audiences and special programming.

Wayfinding

This winter, The Center completed the installation of a new, intuitive wayfinding system designed to improve navigation and overall visitor experience across campus. The new signage offers bold, accessible signage to help guide patrons around the 78,000 square-foot indoor campus.

This spring, The Center has established plans to transform the Glenwood Lobby, incorporating a welcome kiosk and an expanded gathering and co-working space. Serving more than 100,000 community members annually – including those engaged with The Center’s 18 Resident Organizations – these improvements are designed to create a more welcoming and accessible environment for all.

Website Accessibility

The Center has also enhanced accessibility across its digital platforms: the website now includes an English/Spanish language toggle, allowing users to view any page in either language. The language toggle is available on every page in the top right-hand corner of the website.
