Curious about the ukulele? Join Teton Music School instructor Susan Jones for a fun, all-ages, beginner-friendly ukulele classin a relaxed, outdoor setting. The uke is approachable, portable, and easy to start playing right away – a great first instrument for kids, adults, and families alike. Learn a few basic chords, try simple strumming patterns, and play easy songs together in a relaxed outdoor setting. No experience necessary. Bring a ukulele if you have one; a limited number will be available to borrow.
Susan Jones is a Jackson-based multi-instrumentalist and longtime TMS faculty member known for her warm, encouraging teaching style and love of making music with people of all ages.

Artful Hour programs are all FREE and open to the public, every Wednesday at 5:00 PM during The People’s Market from July 2nd through September 23rd in The Center Tent.

Susan Jones
Susan Jones is a multi-instrumentalist and has been teaching private lessons in piano, guitar, and ukulele for the past 12 years.
She is a performer in several bands, and currently plays keyboard for Chanman Roots Band, a local 9-piece reggae ensemble. She started Music Together, LLC 15 years ago, a popular family music program for parents and children ages 0-5.
As a reliable and involved member of the community, Susan provides outreach for the library, teaches multi-generational music classes, and runs mobile music camps.
