Join Jackson Hole Writers in making a written and visual ode to what’s in your People’s Market shopping bag. Swing by the Artful Hour tent and make a still life of items from your bag. Snap a photo and, with guidance From Jackson Hole Writers, write a very brief story or poem about your still life. Then combine the two and share your love of local community, local creativity, and local food.

Artful Hour programs are all FREE and open to the public, every Wednesday at 5:00 PM during The People’s Market from July 2nd through September 23rd in The Center Tent.For more information on our Artful Hour offerings click here!

Matt Daly is the author of two poetry collections: The Invisible World (Unsolicited Press, 2024) and Between Here and Home (Unsolicited Press, 2019), and the poetry chapbook, Red State (Seven Kitchens Press, 2019). His third book-length collection, also titled Red State, is forthcoming from Unsoliticted Press in 2027. Matt is a past recipient of a Neltje Blanchan Award for writing inspired by the natural world and a Creative Writing Fellowship in Poetry from the Wyoming Arts Council. He is the Executive Director of Jackson Hole Writers.

Matt will invite some author pals to help out. You never know who might be with him when you come to the tent.
