About Color Vérité

Color Vérité creates spaces to showcase and celebrate the true color of the outdoors, adventure, and conservation. We seek to celebrate the underrepresented stories in our connection to nature. Color Vérité started after Jr Rodriguez attended various film festivals across the country in promotion for his films. From New York to California, he met other filmmakers of color and their films and stories were always relegated to a special block or a poor showing time at a smaller venue never in the main theater during prime time.

Jr Rodriguez

Based in Jackson Hole, Jr is a first generation bilingual award winning director, photographer and BIPOC activist. He is rewriting the value system in our connection to nature –from city parks to coastlines and everywhere in between — using film, photo and grantmaking to exalt the people and stories that we’ve always known are our true heroes.
