Through Our Lens: A Celebration of Film
Thursday, May 11 at 7PM
The Center Theater

$10 Adults (including $2 Vendini fee)
$8 Student discount price (including $2 Vendini fee)

Presented by Jackson Hole WILD and Orijin Media, this will be an event that celebrates gender equality in filmmaking, which is something that has never been done in our community. Film is unique in how it relies on a wide array of talents and abilities all working together to produce one single piece of art. The efforts of many distilled into one creation.

Our event will expose the immeasurable benefits of women having a strong voice in that process and how creation is limitless when men and women work together equally. All films focus on the human power in tough and different circumstances around the world, from climbing the tallest peaks in Wyoming; to documenting natives deep inside the Peruvian and Brazilian Amazon; to the story of the first year of operation of Vertical Harvest; to citizens using their voice to protest; to how skiing can affect life.

They all focus on the human experience. We will screen five short films and one excerpt from a work-in-progress. A moderated Q&A discussion will follow the screenings and end with a "Meet & Greet" with all the filmmakers.
