Strumbucket is a twang-funk quintet hailing from the realm of two Teton Counties. Their southern roots stir up a sonic sound, fusing together the genres of country, rock, bluegrass, samba, jazz, and funk. Influenced by a wide range of sounds, including bands like Little Feat, The Meters, and Ween, the group crafts their more than tongue-in-cheek genre bending originals into an all-encompassing experience.
In recent years, Strumbucket has wedged its way into the Jackson Hole music scene with its unique music, playing everything from rowdy bar gigs, fun-filled community events, and several local venues. Sharing the stage with numerous local acts along the way, the band has also has also enjoyed supporting well-known acts such as JoJo Herman (Widespread Panic), Y La Bamba, and The Ghost of Paul Revere.
