John Hummel, originally from West Babylon NY, is a successful entrepreneur in construction and real estate development.
He is the founder and CEO of John Hummel and Associates, a leader in high-end custom home building with offices in East Hampton and Manhattan. John studied civil engineering and construction management at SUNY Delhi. He was an active member of the Child Development Center of the Hamptons Charter School where he served as Vice President of the board.
John and his wife Dawn moved to Jackson in 2013 to pursue his passion for the outdoors. In addition to hiking, biking, fishing, skiing and golf, John volunteers for Grand Teton National Park as a park ranger. John also has a love for the arts and serves on the Center for the Arts Building and Grounds committee.
John loves spending time with his family. He has four children, one stepson and eight grandchildren. They all love visiting Jackson Hole.
