The University of Wyoming Outreach School extends the University's educational programs to the state of Wyoming and beyond with innovative and unique opportunities for learners of many ages, interests, locations, and motivations. Our programs and services are organized under five units, with Outreach Regional Centers located in communities throughout Wyoming.

Division of Outreach Credit Programs
Since 1886, the University of Wyoming has used the leading technologies of the day to deliver outstanding undergraduate, graduate, and professional education opportunities to students spread across Wyoming's 98,000 square miles. Getting an education is now more convenient than ever due to innovative delivery methods such as video conferencing, correspondence study, audio teleconferencing, and Online UW?the university's Internet campus.

Division of Community Service Education
We offer non-credit courses in a variety of diverse interest groups including personal development, professional renewal, recreation and fitness, business, dance and music, arts and crafts, and photography via conferences, workshops, seminars, and non-credit classes through the Division of Community Service Education.

Our conference and workshop services include program consultations, marketing and Web page design, pre-registration, on-site registration (anywhere in the state/region), financial management, accommodations and meeting facilities, catering options, compressed video and audiovisual equipment, credit, evaluations, and post conference wrap ups.

Additional activities provided by Community Service Education include events planning and UW Elderhostel.

Division of Outreach Technology Services
The Division of Outreach Technology Services provides technological support for the programs and services offered through the Outreach School. The division units are Outreach Engineering, University of Wyoming Television (UWTV), and Computer Network Support. The division is the liaison for WEN and WVCS, state video conferencing systems operating throughout Wyoming.

Wyoming Public Radio
Wyoming Public Radio has been serving Wyoming for 35 years. Through more than 14 stations and 8 translators, WPR reaches over 80 percent of the state's population. Through www.wyomingpublicradio.net WPR can be heard nationwide on the Internet.

Wyoming Public Radio programming is primarily news, classical music, and contemporary music. WPR also airs jazz, folk, bluegrass, and variety programs. Wyoming Public Radio is the state's only member of National Public Radio and an affiliate of Public Radio International, sources of such favorites as A Prairie Home Companion, The Thistle & Shamrock, Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Car Talk.
