The Jackson Hole Chorale was formed in 1983 with a mission to provide an opportunity for local singers to perform and further their choral skills. Throughout the years we have educated our community audience in a wide variety of music forms and literature and introduced them to composers with whom they might otherwise never become acquainted. The Chorale performs music from all periods.
The Chorale consists of about 40 members, including some founding members. The Chorale performs two major concerts every year: one at Christmas and another in spring. Typical concerts feature a large work performed by the entire chorale, such as the Mozart Requiem, and some small-group presentations such as barbershop quartets, trios and duets.
In addition to the spring and winter concerts, Chorale members perform throughout the community, sharing their love of music at the Senior Center, Rotary Club, and the Farmer's Market. All are welcome to come and sing with us!
