About Dancers' Workshop
Dancers' Workshop opened its doors in a log cabin in 1971 and has provided the community of Jackson with quality dance education and performance for 33 years. A highly professional staff of instructors offers more than 80 classes per week in modern, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, creative movement, country western, yoga, choreography, and hip hop, directly touching the lives more than 300 children and adults per week.
Dancers' Workshop also houses Wyoming's only professional dance company, Contemporary Dance Wyoming, comprised of local dance professionals. The company also tours regionally, performing works created by nationally recognized guest choreographers as well as giving informative lecture performances of "What is Modern Dance?" The company offers outreach activities in schools, bringing dance as an art form to communities throughout the state, reaching thousands of students and audience members.
