The Center Board Elects New Members 

Mack Mendenhall

Born in the foothills of North Carolina, Mack graduated from North Carolina State University with honors and promptly moved out west. Mack became intimately connected with Jackson Hole as a river guide, photographer and working at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Introducing thousands of visitors to the unique and impressive sights and sounds of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem came second nature to him. Being raised in the family brokerage, Mack quickly found his calling and became a third generation realtor. Mack’s crowning achievement has been being the first and only real estate agent ever to be voted the Best in Jackson Hole, 8 straight years, from 2009-Present. As an active member of the community, Mack is the current Teton Board of Realtors President, Open Space Councilman with the Jackson Hole Land Trust, Town Creek Condominium HOA Board member and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Teton Raptor Center, and Old Bill’s Fun Run.

Sam Zuckerman

A native to Jackson Hole, Sam has a broad understanding of the area and the community. After graduating from Jackson Hole High School, Sam studied at Montana State University where he graduated with honors with a degree in Political Science and a minor in International Business. While at Montana State University Sam studied abroad in Australia and received a scholarship to study economic development in China. After graduation, Sam worked for Crystal Springs Ranch, Inc/Shooting Star where he managed several real estate development projects and was responsible for the oversight of research, budgets, entitlements, permits and construction. After five years of working at Crystal Springs Ranch/Shooting Star, Sam attended the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he received his MBA in 2015. While attending Kellogg, Sam interned at the Irvine Company, one of the largest private real estate development firms in California. While at the Irvine Company, Sam was responsible for the strategic analysis associated with site planning and feasibility studies for several large mixed-use developments in Silicon Valley.

Sam returned to Crystal Springs Ranch/Shooting Star in 2015 as the Senior Director of Real Estate Development. In addition to managing real estate development activities, he is also responsible for the organization’s workforce housing development and initiatives.

Sam is an active member of the community and has been involved with various local organizations including Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department, Habitat for Humanity, St. John’s Medical Center Oncology Department, and Wyoming Winter Special Olympics.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Sam enjoys taking advantage of the great outdoor opportunities that Jackson has to offer such as fishing, hiking, and skiing. Sam lives full-time in Jackson, Wyoming with his girlfriend, Padgett, and their two dogs, Tucker and Juniper.
