About the Center for the Arts

The Center for the Arts continues to create space for creativity and collaboration in Jackson Hole. Opened in January 2004, the Arts & Education Pavilion at the Center is now home and host to 17 local and regional non-profit arts and higher education organizations. This first phase of the Center features 41,000 square feet of dedicated studio, classroom and administrative space on three floors. The recently completed Performing Arts Pavilion features an intimate 525-seat theater as well as a spacious lobby and a Music Center.

Center announces 2010-2011 Center Presents Season

JACKSON, WYO. – April 28, 2010 – Since opening the doors on the Center Theater in March 2007, the Center for the Arts has been bringing world-class performances to Jackson Hole. With its 2010-11 Center Presents season it continues that tradition, expanding and even improving upon previous years. “We’ve put together a very exciting mix of national headliners, local talent and family entertainment representing a wide range of styles and genres,” said Clare Payne Symmons, executive director of the nonprofit Center for the Arts. This year’s Center Presents season again includes several performances co-presented with two Center resident organizations. With Dancers’ Workshop, the Center will host The Chamber Ensemble of the New York City Ballet – an unprecedented opportunity for both organizations as well as for the community at large – as well as Ballet Jazz Danse Montreal and San Francisco-based LINES Ballet.
