Center Presents Winter Series of Concerts

Jackson Hole, WY - Center for the Arts is announcing a portion of its winter “Center Presents” concert series. Highlights include Donavon Frankenreiter, Civil Twilight, the Harlem Gospel Choir, and an Acoustic Evening with James McMurtry and John Fullbright.

“We have an exceptional lineup of musicians coming to the Center with some fresh new talent, like Civil Twilight and Delta Rae, that will be sure to knock your socks off. The Center is also bringing some phenomenal established artists like Ruthie Foster and Donavon Frankenreiter that have never played here before,” said Shannon McCormick, programming director at Center for the Arts.

James McMurtry and John Fullbright will share the stage for the first time ever on December 29. McMurtry is a Texan singer-songwriter with a serious Jackson following. Rising artist John Fullbright is a 23 year-old singer-songwriter hailing from neighboring Oklahoma. On January 10, blues and folk singer-songwriter Ruthie Foster and her trio will perform with our Steinway piano on stage. One week later on January 17, South African rockers Civil Twilight bring their perfect blend of atmospheric sound and hazy storytelling that transports you to another place. Who’s Bad, a nationally-renowned Michael Jackson cover band, is booked for March 21. Other highlights include Delta Rae on February 20, fusing its inspired four-part harmonies with a rich Carolina soul, and surfer-musician Donavon Frankenreiter on March 25. Additional concerts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Donavon Frankenreiter will go on sale on Friday, November 30 at 10:00am MT at the Center for the Arts Box Office and online at . Tickets for Ruthie Foster, Civil Twilight, Who’s Bad, Delta Rae, and An Evening James McMurtry and John Fullbright will go on sale on Wednesday, December 5 at 10:00am. A limited number of discounted ticket packages will be available by phone only beginning on December 5 at 10:00am.
